The A-side, complete fiction, any resemblance, etc., is coincidental, is about a person who is the model for their significant other's artwork. File "Model Companion" under lamentation. The B-side "Thank You for Letting Me Be" goes back to the days of being single and doing something about that. The narrator runs into an attractive person who was out of their league. The gratitude is for not choosing to be a different person to be in that league. We may call this hemi-demi-autobiographical.
